Bishop Ron L. Bynum has a calling to serve God's people. His heart's desire is to worship God with all his heart. Rodney Pike Church of God is a spiritually fortified congregation due to the passion for the word of God that our pastor has.
Pastor Bynum was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky. He and his wife, Leah, have been actively involved in pastoral ministry for over twenty-five years. Sixteen of those years were spent in the greater Cincinnati, Ohio area. They now call Gallia County home.

The children's ministries play a vital role here at RPCOG. Brandon & Ambur Tiller answered the call upon their lives to start a Sunday AM junior church program and have not looked back.
Brandon and Ambur graduated from The University of Rio Grande. Brandon obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. He is Associate Coordinator of Educational Technology Jackson City Schools. Ambur gaduated with Honors. Obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science as well as a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. Ambur is a Programmer Analyst for Adena Health Care Systems of Chillicothe, Ohio.
The Tiller's are a sharp couple with vision and purpose for children's ministries. They are always on the look out for new and creative tools to bring into junior church.
The Browning share a philosophy that Christians must be students of the word of God in order to withstand the attacks of the enemy. Indeed they practice what they preach.
Vickie and Roscoe both hold associates degrees from Gallipolis Business College. They completed a two year Bible Study program conducted by New Life Church in Huntington, WV and a two year Bible Study program conducted by Bethel Harvest Chruch in Lexington, KY. Roscoe has a background in accounting and well versed in scripture and has a pulpit ministry. Vickie also digs deep into her studies. She works for an informations company in Gallipolis, Ohio.
Working in conjunction with the pastor the Brownings have developed a fantastic bible study program here in the local church. Two different weekly classes are offered that switch off every two months with various instructors. Roscoe.Browning@gmail.com
This is the year of “Good Things” for the Women’s Ministries! “God anointed Jesus with the Holy Spirit and with power, and he went about doing good…” Acts 10:38. Teresa Baker feels that as women who are striving to be like Jesus we want to go about doing good. We want to get out among the people and do “Good Things”.
Terea lives in Patriot, Ohio. A devoted wife and mother, she was raised with a high moral standard that believes that God is first and family a close second. Teresa graduated from South Gallia High School.
There is one main goal for women's ministries: Be part of outreach evangelism through our local church.
The Men's Ministry works to build up spiritual character in men. Our goal is to facilitate ministry teams, men bonded together in love for Jesus and each other, discipled in the essentials of Christianity, instructed to interact with people around them in a Christian way, and sent forth in service to the lost and hurting world around them.
Mike Carpenter is the director of the men's ministry here at RPCOG. He is a committed family man who honors God in everthing he does. Mike wears many hats. He is a heavy equipment operator in the coal industry and a farmer.
World Missions is also an area in which Mike serves. He is our local missions representative.
The Neal's have strong spiritual convictions and an even stronger commitment to Christ. They teach our teens to live a life above reproach.
Both Rob & Jennifer were born and raised in Point Pleasant, West Virginia and graduated from Point Pleasant High School. Rob is an electrician and works in the field of heating and cooling.Jennifer runs a web site business for customized cards, invitations, and candy wrappers. They have three wonderful boys.
The couple are actively involved as Youth Pastor's and in the music ministry here in our local church and other venues. Rob is an accomplished guitar player and Jennifer is an anointed drummer and is gifted in the area of worship dance and fine arts. Momentum_tm@yahoo.com
Cathy Sexton and Dot Parnell are the dynamic-duo that head off The K.I.C.K.S. Wednesday night junior program here in our local church. Both of these ladies have experienced extreme new-life make overs. Cathy was delivered from alcoholism and Dot left a nominal religious background and came into a victorious spirit filled life.
Cathy is employed by Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis, Ohio where she works in the food service department. Dot works security for a food service company in Jackson, Ohio.
Under the direction of Cathy and Dot the K.I.C.K.S. ministry is involved with outreach to the community and pen pals to the military. This ministry sets a goal every year to purchase equipment or ministry tools for the local church. To date they have given thousands of dollars toward this goal. taebocat@hotmail.com
Leah Bynum feels that we mentally, physically, and spiritually enter into worship. One must couple and complete the other. When these elements come together we get what scripture calls a "true worshipper".

M.O.P.S. stands for Mother's of Preschoolers. Under the direction of Kathy Brammer women can come to a place where mothering matters. This group has matured into a life giving ministry that reaches past denominational barriers and into the community.
Kathy is the coordinator of the local chapter of M.O.P.S. She is a graduate of River Valley High School of Gallipolis, Ohio. She also worked in the field of banking before following her hearts desire as a wife and mother.

Connie Halley is the director of Spirit Care which offers help for the wounded spirit. The goal of this ministry is "To proclaim that Jesus Christ is Lord. To touch the lives of those who are struggling and need answers. To give a word in season to him who is weary. To know that new life is available for anyone who asks with a sincere heart.
Connie is a graduate of The University of Rio Grande with a BA, AA. She is also a liscensed Social Worker in the state of Ohio. Presently Connie is a counselor with Hospice, End of Life Care.
